Matching Methodology

This page explains how Nashville Realtor Near Me calculates the match scores shown to consumers. Our goal is transparency: you should understand exactly why each agent matched.

Inputs

Match scores are calculated from two sources of information:

• Consumer preferences: your goal, property type, price range, target Nashville area, priorities, and timeline — collected through the matching quiz.
• Agent-supplied information: each participating agent's self-reported specialties, service areas, buyer and seller focus, price ranges, property types, and client focus.

How Scoring Works

Each participating agent starts with a baseline participation score. We then add to that score based on how well the agent's stated profile aligns with your preferences:

• Service area overlap with your target Nashville area.
• Specialty alignment with your goal (e.g., relocation, investment, new construction).
• Property type expertise matching your selected property type.
• Priority alignment with the factors you said matter most.
• Price range overlap with your stated budget.

Scores are capped and presented as a percentage. The reasons behind each match are shown alongside the score.

What Match Scores Are Not

• They are not a measure of agent quality or skill.
• They are not an independent ranking of "the best" agents in Nashville.
• They are not a guarantee of a successful transaction.
• They do not reflect independently verified information in every case.

Paid Participation

Limitations

Matching relies on self-reported agent information and consumer-provided preferences. We do not independently verify every detail an agent supplies. Consumers should perform their own due diligence before engaging any agent.
